The Sword of Summer is the first book in a new series by Rick Riordan. The book focuses on Magnus Chase, the sun of the Norse God Frey. The book is an intense thriller which starts off rapidly and exciting and maintains that way throughout the entirety of the book. The book starts off with Magnus dying and continues to gather speed until the thrilling conclusion.
I created cupcakes for my project each decorated with a different Asgardian rune. One example is below, sadly all of the cupcakes were devoured so quickly I could not get a picture of all 8 runes in the book. I give this book ✸✸✸✸✸.
